Meet Your Parent Council

The Parent Council is a vibrant volunteer-led advisory group that supports and enriches the school experience for the students at Atlas Learning Academy in Airdrie, Alberta. The Council plays a vital role in supporting our school community through events, fundraising, and collaboration with staff.

We’re always looking for new faces to join us!

Right now, we’re especially looking for help with positions:

Recorder / Note Taker - all meeting minutes are placed on our Google Drive so must know or learn Google Docs (Kerrie can help you)

Vice-Chair - This position is for someone who will be planning to be on the Council for a few years as the hope will be to take on the Chair position next year.

Volunteer Coordinator

Most positions do not require you to spend a lot of time. You are required to get a Vulnerable Sector check completed (letter to be provided).
